Determine whether they will be fit for your application process.

How is the temperature in the area and where the conveyor will be? Does the temperature change from time to time? How will these temperature changes affect on the conveyor system? These are all questions you need to consider related to general environment of the conveyor area.

Consider what you have set aside to use in the conveyor system purchase. The budget is very important and more so, you should give an allowance of any budgetary changes and adjustments that may be needed.
